Web Design Experience

I am self-taught and have been designing web sites for over 10 years. Instead of using web design software, I design my sites from scratch. Therefore I feel I have more control over the design.

I have designed sites for myself, for a band called Dark Energy, and I designed for Safeway's Seattle Division Intranet when I worked for them.

I design with several factors in mind: readability and usability; form and function; making it easy for search engines to find; making it work in all the popular browsers; and making it pleasing to the eye.

I am constantly working to expand my knowledge and know-how. I learn something new with every new site I design. And I feel every new site benefits from my unique approach.

Graphic Design Experience

I have been doing graphic design as long as I have been doing web design, because I prefer my sites to look completely unique. My style and ability has evolved over the years, and I believe my graphics have a unique look to them due to my unique approach.

In addition to designing graphics for my own sites, I have also designed original graphics for the Dark Energy site. I also designed many original graphics for Safeway's Seattle Division Intranet site when I was doing web design for them.

Software Knowledge/Consulting

I have extensive knowledge of Microsoft's Office suite of software due to personal use and a good deal of coursework. My knowledge and experience goes far beyond basic. I can implement and teach advanced features in addition to tips and tricks to make using these programs easier.

Location

I am located in Bothell, Washington near Seattle. I am doing this work independently, on contract, therefore work out of my home and do not have an office that is open to the public. I can travel to your business, within the Seattle Metro area, including all of the east side, during business hours for a consultation. I will bring materials and a presentation that will make the process as quick, easy and pleasant as possible.
